BOIRE DANS LE MEME REVE - DRINK IN THE SAME DREAM

Une fois n'est pas coutume, le post sur cette artiste belge sera très personnel.

En effet, cette année, elle me fait, je ne peux le voir autrement, le plus beau des cadeaux!
Maurane se produira au Nice Jazz Festival le 24 juillet 2010; jour de mon anniversaire, c'est un signe qu'elle ait choisi cette date précise pour venir me voir!

Maurane et moi c'est une très longue histoire...

Cette histoire a commencé en 1986; je visitais le Salon de la musique à la Grande Halle de la Villette à Paris, au fond du salon une salle de spectacle où était enregistré en public une émission de Jean Louis Foulquier pour France Inter.

De loin je l'entends. Cette voix. Ce swing. Je m'approche. Et là, je vois et j'entends un phénomène. Une voix extraordinaire. Un humour. Une présence. Heureusement il y a eu une chaise qui s'est libérée (véridique!) je suis tombé sous le choc! Mais, qui est cette chanteuse époustouflante qui me chante que j'ai plus la pêche (entre autre!)? Une jeune chanteuse belge (merci à eux!) Claude Maurane!

Lorsque je quitte le salon, toujours sous le choc, je la croise, ses cheveux hirsutes et toujours cette présence et ce charisme... Je me précipite à la FNAC pour acheter immédiatement son disque.

Quoi!? Comment ça! Aucun disque n'est sorti de cette chanteuse en France!?
J'ai du attendre de trop longs mois!

Puis un second choc! Automne 1987; Théâtre de la Ville à Paris! Je n'ai jamais vu ça sur scène!
Je l'adopte définitivement.

Il y a les artistes que l'on aime, il y a ceux qui fixent à jamais un instant de bonheur! Maurane fait parti de ces artistes là. De ces artistes dont on n'oublie pas la première rencontre; comme de l'amour de sa vie.

Et 24 ans plus tard, elle est toujours là. Je suis toujours là.

Tout a changé, mais rien n'a bougé!

J'ai eu la chance de rencontres, d'échanges de courrier ou de courriel; moments rares mais si bons!

Parce que Mau (un diminutif affectueux) est une grande dame avec un talent exceptionnel, une voix telle qu'on en rencontre que très peu, un charisme et un humour ravageurs et surtout d'une grande simplicité, sans chichi, et d'une générosité sans faille.

Oui, je sais, ces mots sont une vraie déclaration d'amour... Mais allez la voir sur scène et vous comprendrez très vite!

Le spectacle qu'elle propose au Nice Jazz Festival ce 24 juillet 2010, "Ô Nougaro" est un hommage vivant, gai, sensible et chaleureux à son maître Claude Nougaro qui disait d'elle qu'elle était "sa digne héritière".

Maurane and me is a very long story ...


This story began in 1986, I visited the Music Fair in the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris, in an exhibition hall which was recorded live a radioshow of Jean Louis Foulquier for France Inter.

From a distance I hear. That voice. This swing. I approach. And there I saw and heard a phenomenon. An extraordinary voice. Humor. Presence. Fortunately there was a chair that was released (true!) I fell in shock! But who is this amazing singer who sings to me that I am not anymore full of beans (among others!)? A young Belgian singer (thank you to them!) Claude Maurane!


When I left the room, still in shock, I saw her, her hair disheveled and always that presence and the charisma ...

I rushed to buy at FNAC immediately the LP.

What!? What do you mean! No record is out of this singer in France!?
I had to wait too many months!


Then a second shock! Fall 1987 Theatre de la Ville in Paris! I've never seen it on stage!
I adopt her permanently.

There are artists that we love, there are those capturing a moment of happiness! Maurane is one of those artists there. Of these artists that we can not forget first encounter, as the love of his life.

And 24 years later, she is still there. I'm still here.

Everything has changed, but nothing has changed!

I had the chance to meet, exchange mail or email; few times but so good!

Because Mau (an affectionate diminutive) is a great lady with an exceptional talent, a voice as we met very exceptionally, charisma and scathing humor and especially a great simplicity, without frills, and a unfailing generosity.

Yes, I know, these words are a true declaration of love ... But go and see her perform and you will understand immediately!

The show she proposes at the Nice Jazz Festival this July 24, 2010, "O Nougaro" is a living tribute, cheery, sensitive and warm to his master Claude Nougaro (french singer and songwriter/poet), who said of her that she was his "worthy successor".
