Nice fête ses 150 ans.

C'est, en effet, le 14 juin 1860 qu'officiellement le Comté de Nice est rattaché à la France après le plébiscite du mois d'avril.

En 1859 la France du second empire a conclu, avec et le Royaume de Piémont-Sardaigne, une alliance dans le but de rejeter l'Autriche hors de l'Italie du nord, la France devant recevoir le comté de Nice en récompense pour son aide.

Le traité de Turin scellant cette cession sera signé le 24 mars 1860 par Napoléon III et Victor Emmanuel II et un plébiscite sera organisé les 15 et 16 avril de la même année.

                    

Différentes manifestations ont été organisées pour fêter ce 150eme anniversaire du rattachement du Comté de Nice à la France :

Une pièce de Théâtre  : "Le rattachement" écrite spécialement par Didier Van Cauwelaert avec Alexandra Lamy, Mélanie Doutey et Samuel Labarthe se produit jusqu'au 20 juin devant Le Palais des rois Sardes.

Un concert de l'orchestre Philharmonique de Nice (le 11 juin), un show culinaire et une dégustation de spécialités niçoises animés par l'association "Les Toques Brûlées" menée par de jeunes chefs très dynamiques et talentueux (le 12 juin).

Le saut exceptionnel de 40 parachutistes sur la Promenade des anglais (le 14 juin).

Un meeting de la Patrouille de France dans le ciel de la Baie des anges (le 14 juin).

Un grand feu d'artifice face au Quai des Etats-Unis clôturera ces commémorations (le 14 juin).

Nice celebrates its 150th anniversary.

It is, indeed, June 14, 1860, formally, the County of Nice was annexed to France after the plebiscite of April.

In 1859 the Second Empire of France signed an agreement with the Kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia, an alliance in order to force Austria to flee from northern Italy, France receiving the County of Nice as a reward for his help .

The treaty of Turin sealing the sale is March 24, 1860 signed by Napoleon III and Victor Emmanuel II and a plebiscite will be held on 15 and 16 April of that year.

Various events were organized to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the attachment of the County of Nice to France

A play : "Le Rattachement" specially written by Didier Van Cauwelaert, with Alexandra Lamy, Melanie and Samuel Labarthe Doutey happens until June 20 at The Palace of the Kings Sardes.

A concert of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Nice (June 11), a culinary show and tasting of specialties from Nice animated by the association "Les Toques Brûlées" led by young Chefs very dynamic and talented (June 12).

The extraordinary jump of 40 paratroopers on the Promenade of the English (June 14).

A meeting of the Patrouille de France in the skies over Bay of Angels (June 14).

A huge fireworks Quai des USA will close the celebrations (June 14).
